Vtg 1930s Peach Full Bust Long Line Girdle Corset Artis Plus Size Pin Up Garters. This Corset was well worn and well loved! The pictures do not do it justice! The color is a vintage peachy pink. An incredible piece of vintage corset/girdle construction. Made for a large bust! Band width 34” on the smallest with the tightest lacing. Bust starting at 42.” Mismatch buttons on the straps that make the garment more adjustable. All hook and eyes on inner and outer layer are intact. All grommets are intact, however some appear to have been replaced and a few are pulling through a bit on the inside. There is a faint yellowing throughout and some faint dark stains in spots. All the plastic stays are intact except for 4 that seem to be symmetrically missing from the front. There is some fraying of the elastic on the 4 garters. All for garters are present. The metal pieces have very faint rusting. If anyone knows anything about the 30s and vintage pieces in general, plus size garments were all mainly custom. The amount of repairs that can be found from the original owner show just how quality and expensive this piece was. There is even velvet and a slightly different faux-fur like fabric added later on into the inside to make the garment more comfortable! There are atleast 16 different fabrics and fascinations made into this garment! Really incredible. Frame it! An amazing piece of History. Length 20” Dm for more pictures.
