COOL PATTERN 5.8ct Semi Black Opal MULTICOLOR Lightning Ridge!

For your consideration is a solid, semi black opal (N6) from Lightning Ridge, Australia. It features moderately bright, (3/5) multicolors including red, in an interesting and unusual pattern.  Broadflashes roll back and forth in a geometric pattern, that is not quite square enough to be Harlequin. Its not a flagstone either, because the sections are not sectioned with potch.  Anyway, this is a chunky, freeform cut gem that weighs 5.8 carats. It measures 17 mm long by 12 mm wide by 4 mm high. Flawlessly clean and crack-free, all the way arround- the back is white porceline.   Old stock material that has been in my collection more than a decade.  As ever, this is all-natural, untreated material, mined from Mother Earth. All I've done is shape and polish it from the rough.
PLEASE NOTE: you are looking at enlarged images of a small gemstone. Flaws or blemishes may not be visable to the naked eye!  White lines or spots that do not remain in the same place are reflections from the highly polished surface.
