    Description

    In 1946, AC Gilbert marketed their new line of S gauge trains, with redesigned transformers.  Most of the number 6 transformers were sold in the new design, having only 3 posts, base, variable and fixed.  This is one of the rare 4 post transformers sold that year which offer a variety of different voltages across a combination of the terminals.  Transformer was thoroughly cleaned and tested, new power cord installed, and should provide years of reliable service.
