1880`s Victorian Black Silk Handmade Lace Blouse Top Victorian Opulence Corset

Absolutely stunning ,rich black silk taffeta is covered in wonderful
handmade lace. This blouse has a fuller pigeon chest which would give a lady
that perfect s-bend silhouette that was so popular in late 1800`s.
The top has very tight fitting rushed sleeves with what looks to me
like hand embroidered dots all over. The sleeves are also lined with
very fine black sheer fabric and the sleeves come to a point.
There is corset boning on the inside and
the front comes to a point with 2 lace flowers.
The back has this fantastic cummerbund design with 6 satin buttons.
The front is all covered in wonderful lace and is topped
off with a high necked black jet beaded neckline.
I rarely find a piece in this condition.

Absolutely in great condition. Totally wearable.
All I could find was the really fine fabric layer
between taffeta and lace under the arms is detached.

* Excellent : Worn, but does not show any signs of wear,
that I can see.
+ Great : Worn but near perfect . Small signs here and there .
Pinholes barely detectable flaws, remember it is vintage.
~ Good: Still wearable but needs repair ( new zippers,small holes ,
fading repairs, etc.) AS IS
!  Fair : Most likely not wearable for study or pattern making
